We do not escape into philosophy, psychology, and art - we go there to restore our shattered selves into whole ones.”

A cozy space for families to hang out together. This space has been a weekend highlight for my kids and me. Thankful to the friend who suggested that we come visit this library. They have made it cozy and included a playing space and multiple reading nooks if the children would like to spend time reading. They also have events like read-alouds, movie screening, crochet classes etc in addition to the library concept. The grown ups have a space for working in case they want to wait, while the children take time to read. They have also kept some board games, legos etc to make the space more interactive for the young ones. They have a coffee/beverage/snacks corner in case of a quick refreshment break and the washrooms are maintained with good hygiene in mind for the little ones.

Pooja has created a beautiful small world where the kids forget the gadgets and adults remember the real meaning of books and real connection with themselves. My 8 year daughter loves to visit this place which is a library, a book club, a dino camp and much more . Her most favourite are the read aloud story sessions by Pooja. We visit the place every weekend she can't wait to go back to the Rain Lily project she is very excited . I will definitely recommend this for any age kid or an adult.

I love this space. They have an excellent collection of books for children and I found some thought provoking ones for myself as well. I have been hoping and praying for a lending library and this has come as an answer to our prayers. Kids also love the cozy carpet , the high quality play gym , the curated collection of interactive toys that includes puzzles , board games and lot of others that I don't the names of. The librarian also makes a great cup of coffee:)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Rain Lily Project community library in Kammanahalli, Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, and I must say it’s an absolute gem! This library is more than books – it's a vibrant community hub that fosters learning, creativity, and connection. The library itself is cozy and well-organized, offering a wide selection of books across various genres. Whether you’re into fiction, non-fiction, or something more specialized, you’ll find something that piques your interest. Pooja maam is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a good read or help with any inquiries. What sets the Rain Lily Project apart are the amazing events they host. Fridays are special with movie screenings in the evening. It's a fantastic way to kick off the weekend, and they often feature films that are thought-provoking, entertaining, and diverse. It’s a great way to relax, meet new people, and enjoy a movie in a cozy, laid-back atmosphere with yummy popcorn . Every Saturday, they hold engaging read-aloud sessions that are perfect for children. It's a beautiful way to unwind and enjoy storytelling in a group setting, creating a sense of community and shared experience. All kids including my son Ronith loves it, and it's heartwarming to see their imaginations spark with each session. The Rain Lily Project is more than just a library; it’s a hub for cultural exchange, learning, and community bonding. If you are in Bangalore, this place is a must-visit and get connected .

Love this space! Took my toddler here often as a hangout place during our vacation. Coffee for the parents and books & puzzles for everyone. I also love the events that are always happening- dino camps, writing jams for adults, movie nights!! Love this space that Pooja has created and the coffee that Selvi makes!

We stumbled upon this lovely space quite by chance, and I’m so glad we did. The quaint, artsy library vibe immediately caught my eye - it feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated. Pooja has done a truly wonderful job creating a beautiful, child-friendly, and cosy haven for readers of all ages. The book collection is excellent, the café serves delicious quick bites (with organic options!), and the space effortlessly transforms for reading sessions, movie nights, and even birthday celebrations. We celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Every guest genuinely enjoyed the ambience, and Pooja’s warmth and on-point hosting made the entire experience smooth and special. If you’re looking for a charming, intimate space to unwind or celebrate, don’t miss this gem, just walk in and soak in the cosy magic.

The Rain Lily Project is an absolute gem. The ambience is warm, creative, and instantly welcoming — it feels like a thoughtfully curated space where children can learn, explore, and feel completely at ease. One of the standout features is their wonderful collection of children’s books. The kids’ library is impressive, carefully curated, and encourages a genuine love for reading. It’s no surprise that so many parents mention this — you can see children naturally gravitating towards the books and enjoying the space. They also host fantastic activities for kids, including movie nights, engaging read-aloud sessions, and unique, creative events that are both fun and meaningful. Everything is well-organized and designed with children’s development and imagination in mind. Highly recommended for families looking for enriching, joyful experiences for their kids. A place you’ll want to keep coming back to!

Amidst an overload of screentime (even for kids), The Rain Lily Project is a perfect place for the little ones to spend some time with a nice collection of books. We got our elder daughter enrolled for library membership. She is introvert and was initially hesitant to spend time at The Rain Lily. However, after few visits, she absolutely loves the place. She is in the third grade and we can see a significant improvement in her reading. Importantly, it’s love for books that’s the ultimate objective and we see that happening. I would say that Rain Lily is beyond just library for kids. It’s a community space that’s loaded with interesting events. Some recent events where my daughter participated includes the “Fighter Jet Modelling” and “DIY Christmas Decorations.” We also celebrated our younger daughter’s birthday at The Rain Lily. It turned out to be a fantastic event for the kids. I would strongly recommend “The Rain Lily Project” in a world that seems to be gradually turning away from the love of books and reading.

The cosiest and coolest cafe library we have visited so far. Beautiful and refreshing collection of books especially for children. The kids love the space not just to read but to play and watch movies too. And we love it for the coffee and interesting conversations with Pooja, the heart and soul of Rain Lily Project.
